Oscar Friday: The Fly (1987 Winner)

A couple of David Cronenberg's most recent non-horror films have been nominated for Oscar's, but this--arguably one of his most horrific films--actually won. It was nominated and took the statue for Best Makeup...and boy was that richly deserved!!
