This is an obscure little horror from Hammer, which is actually in black and white, which most Hammer films from this period (and even earlier) are not. It's a quirky serial murder thriller about a woman who meets a man at a bar and slowly ropes him into helping her break her insane serial killer husband out of the mental hospital he's been remanded to for life. Her husband is not ordinary killer either; the press had dubbed his killing as "The Acetylene Murders!" One can only imagine what he'll do if he's set free... It's moody and atmospheric in a really "slow creep" kind of way; I recommend it!
