There is no doubt that, like Jeremy Brett made Holmes his own, David Suchet has done the same with Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot! The big difference being that Suchet looks like he will complete all of the Poirot stories, Brett never had a chance of doing that with Sherlock Holmes, unfortunately. This is one of the early "movies" and stars the now recognizable Damien Lewis, who just recently won an Emmy and introduced himself as one of "those annoying Brits." Also Jonathan Firth makes his second appear here of the day. It should also be mentioned that Miss Lemon, Poirot secretary, and whose sister is having all sort of trouble in this mystery, is played by Pauline Moran, who scared the shit out anyone who dared watch in the original Woman In Black! How's that for Halloween??
