This does have a killer killer plant moment in the form Marlin Wayans being attacked by his mutated Mary Jane plant!! Otherwise, despite it's spoof on The Exorcist, the rest is generally a spoof of The Haunting Of Hill House on which both of the The Haunting movies are based. What I love about these films is that it's fun to pick out the various films that they are referencing, some of which are not main stream, or least they were not blockbusters. Example: the handyman, who has a gimpy hand and wears a butler's outfit, at "Hell House" references Poltergeist 2 in a fashion that is almost better than the preacher in the film itself, but not a lot of people are going to get that because it's largely considered a stupid sequel (which on one level it is). Of course, most of jokes are cheap....it's a Wayans movie!
