This is one of the only versions of this classic Dickens story to actually feature the scene where Scrooge is brokering a deal to keep fraudulent activity from investors at a meeting with some of stock exchange peers. While most versions to depict is part where the spirit brings Scrooge back to the stock exchange, but in including this in the film, it demonstrates just how bad Scrooge really is. He's not just a miser, he's a crook to boot. Financial frights to Christmas music!
