This makes a nice transition between UK and US political thrillers. Although the film is based on an out-of-office former UK Prime Minister (loosely based on Tony Blair and played by Pierce Brosnan), it is set in New England and has a fair host of American actors in as well. Besides, I wanted to put this on a few Friday's ago when we were featuring International Thrillers, and didn't get around to it.
Haven't seen this, but it looks like it could be worth the time.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty menacing film! Starkly bleak with a great murder mystery sub-plot. Worth a look.
