Watching the 1990 special extended edition version that features a lot more mothers, including moments with Ripley getting the news of a her daughter dying basically of old age, later telling Newt about it, and...Newt's mother as well. Here we find out that her parents were the ones that enter the ship that has the Alien eggs in it in the first place!
