This one means rather a lot to me, as I have previously stated, because I have an uncle, still living, who was actually in the Naval battle of Guadalcanal--the one that "dropped" the marines off. It was arguably the worst of the naval battles in the Pacific theater throughout the war, and many young sailors did not come home. My uncle's boat was actually hit by a Kamikaze pilot fully loaded with fuel that flew off the island in the middle of the night. The entire port side deck was engulfed in flames along with the young men who were there. Here's to their memories.
