Currently On: Plan Nine From Outer Space

Just couldn't resist playing this on Ed Wood's birthday--a day in the Countdown To Halloween that's been all about 1950's science fiction films.  You could say this is a bit of a double feature, as this can be seen as a remake of our previously viewed masterpiece The Day The Earth Stood Still.  It's more like a rip off, and a pretty bad one at that.  However, I love a good cheesy laugh at the expense of a of a gullible church.  This has been called Bela Lugosi's "last film," but not sure, from the minuscule footage it deserves that moniker--actually I am--it doesn't.  It was certainly the last film he was featured in, though the footage Wood took of him had nothing really to do with the project. Below clunky moments--Top 10--I actually think they missed a few...I would have substituted a few other moments had I made the clip--of course, and I sincerely mean it (!), to each their own.

This one just my vote for inclusion!
