Features Elpidia Carrillo of the Purepecha town of Parácuaro, Mexico (the name translates from that language into English "Place where one has sticks for roofs"--roughly translated though--it's something like that). The Purepecha people are better known to the rest of the world as "Tarascan Indians." Film also featured Sonny Landham who is a descendant of both Tsalagi (Cherokee) and Creek speaking Seminole Nations.
