For some time now it's been a dumb controversy over whether musician, turned first time actress Aaliyah even had any native ancestry. She was, in fact, not just part Native American, she was Oneida. While this is not one of my favorite vampire flicks, I couldn't pass up it's viewing simply because of her tragic death in Marsh Habour in The Bahamas in 2001. Rest in peace sister!
