Famously stars Catherine Deneuve opposite both David Bowie & Susan Sarandon, with an early "how bout it lady" role for the seriously talented Willem Dafoe. Directed by Tony Scott, tragically late brother of Ridley. As a piece of trivia silent movie starlet Bessie Love, made her last film appearance in this film as Lillybelle. I recently posted a birthday tribute to her over at my Silent Wierdness blog. She was the silent "scream queen" in The Lost World (1925) opposite Wallace Beery, because, after all, "you don't put Wallace Berry in some fruity movie about suffering!"
