Smoke Signals also stars Adam Beach (Dog Creek First Nation Canada [Saulteaux]), Evan Adams (Sliammon Reserve, Canada [Coast Salish]), Irene Bedard (Inupiat/Cree/French), Tantoo Cardinal (Metis Cree/French), and features John Trudell (Santee Sioux/Mexican Mestizo), Elaine Miles of Northern Exposure (Cayuse/Nez Perce), Monique Mojica (Kuna/Rappahanock), Michael Greyeyes (Cree), Simon Baker (Cowesses Band Cree), Cody Lightning (Plains Cree) and Chief Leonard George (Coast Salish) son of the late Chief Dan George.
