We cannot play this movie in our house without feeling a personal connection to it; a family member actually worked at Danvers State Hospital, where this was shot, in the 1970's. My husband who, was just a little kid at the time, used to get drug along to pick this person up and actually points out a few areas where he used to wait for this doctors shift to end....very creepy! It gets worse when the stories about some of this doctor's patients get trotted out....like the one about the patient who would bite off parts of his fingers when he would get angry at his doctors....
