A film about a fire crew in Australia, headed up by yet another American Howard Anderson (Tom Skirrett), who finds out that there is something very amiss about local corporate land owners when they basically offer him a bribe let the area he has been assigned to burn for the insurance money. This leads to dangerous situations with wild bush fires that threaten innocent people...then thing get completely out of hand! The third, rather annoying, title for this is Burning Man. It does boast one cool shot of an actual train blowing through an actual bushfire. I grew up around wild fire fighters, and have even been known to do a Friday Fright theme on the subject from time to time. This is basically me getting a fire fighting flick in sometime during the Countdown To Halloween. Having been up close and personal with these things--believe me they are scarier than any Pinhead, Freddy Kruger or Godzilla!!
