Released the same year as Velodrome 1983 (which is really kind of mind blowing when you think about it), this stars Christopher Walken, Brooke Adams, Martin Sheen, Tom Skerritt and Herbert Lom. Interesting, though this was not the first outside project that Cronenberg directed, it is the very first horror film from an outside source that he ever made. Famously, it is based on a novel by Stephen King.
