Talk about a rockin' New Year's Eve!! The Charles' never do anything without high style....and cocktails, including solving a murder that turn out to be about attempted murder as well. My god they knew how to party back then. I just watched all of Ken Burns' The Prohibition yesterday, and it strikes me watching this today, how much the cocktails in this film were about the wink-wink, nudge-nudge celebration to the end of the dry era...it's Hollywood having a go at the zealots, just because they can.... And we think in our generation that we invented rebellion....
