Classic haunted house film from the 1960's starring the late Deborah Kerr and directed by Jack Clayton, known for his 1974 The Great Gatsby. Set in the creepiness of Victorian England, a young governess of two small children becomes convinced that the estate that she has been hired on to is seriously haunted. Not only that, she begins to suspect that the spirits of a former governess and a dead valet are actually posessing the two children she has been hired to raise.... This is based on Henry James' novel The Turn of The Screw.
