I know that a lot of people don't veiw this as a horror film, IMDb certainly doesn't, I am not amongst them. It is based on the same Matheson novel (of the same name) as Vincent Price's 1964 film Last Man On Earth, which is always listed as a horror movie, and was one of the major influences on George Romero's concept of zombie in Night Of The Living Dead. This was chosen by Weena--household top cat and as much of a horror fiend as I am!
