Cracker--The Original British Series

Episode:  Part 2
Episode:  Part 3

Starring Robbie Coltraine (of Harry Potter fame) as the ever in-your-face sarcastic Dr. Eddie "Fitz" Fitzgerald, Cracker was a crime series that presented "episodes" as serials,  some were two-parters, most were 3.

This 3 part episode is a personal favorite of mine.  In addition to series regulars Barbara Flynn, Geraldine Summerville and Lorcan Cranitch, this episode sports extremely good performances from two of Britain's finest:  Christopher Eccleston and Robert Carlyle.  One as a seriously disgruntled serial killer in the making (Carlyle) and the other as the detective charged with hunting him down (Eccleston); all with Fitz in the middle trying to do what the police have hired him to do--psychologically profile the offender.  Seems no one is listening, and so, more people might die.  It's a super nice addition to a day of TV crime!  And I haven't seen it in quite a while, so I'm really enjoying it!

Below is a pretty graphic clip of the first murder in the episode.  It is racially motivated and hard to watch, so be warned.
