Everyone knew that William Petersen would be leaving in season 9, and sure enough, he left after 9 1/2 years as CSI insect loving, fetal pig collecting Gill Grissom. In my opinion the clip below should have been the actual ending...not the sappy meeting up with Sara. It's such a better and fitting way to end out a run of such an iconic television character.
