Yes it's a remake of a classic William Castle! But it's all fun, as far as I'm concerned. Besides, Terry Castle, William's daughter, was not only the co-producer, but was a consultant on the project (as she was for the remake of House On Haunted Hill) as to how to modernize the fun gimmickry of her late father. Besides it stars Shaggy "Matthew Lillard" Rodgers and Adrian "Tony Shalhoub" Monk! Not to mention Rah Digga, who contributes a song for the ending credits that is just simply not available elsewhere.... Besides it's one of Weena's favorites (she's the top cat in house, who refuses to actually believe she's a cat!).
