I totally agree, the remake is a knock-off mess. Although I will admit that I own a copy...my mother hates it--and sometimes, well I need a little "family ammo" around Christmastime! It's really kind of hard to square that this was directed by the same director of "A Christmas Story". That bunny suit in "Story" though...pretty damn scary. RIP Bob Clark!!
Love this movie. I save it to watch in December each year. Just so great. The remake totally missed the point about what made the killer scary.
