Although not to everyone's taste, this is considered to be one of the all time paranormal romances ever made. Released in 1947, it was directed by one of a Hollywood's greats: Joseph L. Mankiewicz. It stares Rex Harrison, Gene Tierney, George Sanders and a very young Natalie Wood.
