Though honouring the teachers of Mexico, especially those who keep the old ways alive is a pretty serious ceremony--I plan to keep this a bit tongue and cheek with a few honestly important titles thrown in! This is not one of those!!
And speaking of light hearted fun with a teacher theme--here is a video of the classic 1997 Daft Punk song "Teachers" with all the teachers--that is mostly DJs--shown. At least one of them, George Clinton, who lives not far away from my little place down here in FLA, is deeply involved with Native American music.
