Which is Nahuatl (Aztec or Mexican) for Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead. Technically the actual Day of the Dead celebration won't come until Halloween through the first two days of November, but there is an election coming up and I am a poll worker--so I am holding an early celebration. This is my first Day of the Dead without my father, so this year I have a even more reason to make sure that honor is paid. The viewing, though, will be really tongue and cheek--currently watching a dubbed version The Curse of the Aztec Mummy (1957). Of course, there were no actual "Aztec mummies."
