Continuing on the the Blackbeard sub-theme of our Pirate day. This is a kid's movie, obviously, but we are all fans of the late Peter Ustinov. I actually saw this as a kid when it was featured as a "summer kids movie festival" in a local movie theater years after it had been released. I remember really loving it at the time, but I was a kid. Now as an adult, and a ghost movie collector to boot, I find it a bit hard to sit through the whole 106 minutes of it, which is why we're playing it first off today; also I have a kid of my own who gets up EARLY!! Playing it for him, and maybe I can get some extra sleep!
