Yes, it's a Horror Musical starring Boris Karloff himself...with some really, really bad opera. I would feel remiss, nonetheless, if I didn't include it. The film is just such a strange curiosity...and then there's the technicolor from 1944 that adds to it's strange gharish charm.
And speaking of old stuff, currently Follies is up for Best Musical Revival, along with 7 others. The original was a big hit on Broadway, all the way back in 1971--music and lyrics by Steven Sondheim, based on the book by James Goldman. Tony's page here.
