A lot of fans of horror fiction know that author Dean Koontz has a thing about dogs. Anyone who has ever read, or seen the movie based on, Watchers knows this well! He manages to get a dog in somewhere, no matter the basis of the story, and Phantoms is no exception! The screenplay for this film was personally adapted by Koontz, with the "dog moment" coming as a physical manifestation of the monster as a disguise...things get really hairy from there! Stars Ben Affleck, Rose McGowan, Liev Schreiber, Joanne Going, and .... Peter O'Toole, with a cameo by Bo Hopkins.
