Countdown To Halloween Day 25--Hooper & Romero Tribute: Poltergeist (1982 Hooper, sort of...)
Undoubtedly Stephen Speilberg's fingerprints are all over this Hooper film, but a few elements in the film are Pure Hooper--thank goodness!!

Countdown To Halloween Day 25-Hooper/Romero Tribute: Eaten Alive (1976 Tobe Hooper)
This was Tobe Hooper second full length film after his infamous Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It has several titles and a bunch of posters (which I would post, but for using a personal hotspot at the moment, due internet outage)--but Eaten Alive is the title that has clung. Southern Gothic and it has Robert Englund!
