Filming Locations: Apple Valley

From too many locations to name to just two:  Victorville and Apple Valley, California--the vast majority of which was filmed in Apple Valley.  A Wes Craven classic.  I saw this in the midnight theater, back when there was such a thing a thing in The South.  Can't believe this Goddamn place is more backward than it was even just a couple of decades ago!  It's only getting worse!  Makes this movie seem tame, even if the original screenplay flirted with the idea of actually eating the baby...
