I know that Quentin Tarantino famously said last fall that he regards this as his "worst" film while he was making the rounds promoting Django Unchained; but I have to admit that it is actually one of my personal favorites of his. It has a great stripped down quality to it. It stars amongst a whole host of other people--including his favorite stunt woman Zoe Bell, who he wrote the film for--Rosario Dawson who is Seminole/Indeh (Apache)/Taino/Afro-Cubano & Irish. Tarantino himself, who shows up in the film as Warren the bartender, is of Tsalagi (Cherokee)/Irish/Italian heritage.
