This is a very well done BBC "mini-series" from 2012, combining 3 of Shakespeare's historical plays that follows the crown from Richard II through to Henry V. We are viewing only the first part, a distinct episodic solo in Richard II, with Ben Wenshaw turning in a very strong performance playing up the real ambiguity and uncertainty of that king's sexual orientation. For a much better blog post on this than I could ever write, please see this post over at the "Hello Tailor" blogspot!
