Also set and and shot in Canada, this is a werewolf film intended as comedy horror; and it does exceed in that respect, but it is also probably the most over the top werewolf film in terms of gore--which is also a blast. I've noticed that a lot of comedic horror films really go for the gore as a way of actually generating laughs--that's what makes them unique in the annals of comedy. Take Slither, for example--it's great example of gore for laughs that are so over the top, you either can't watch it--or, if you LOVE horror, can't take your eyes off of it, or the laughs bellied up either. Shaun Of The Dead and Frankenfish are two other examples of that kind of comedy at work. All I can say is that Canadians really know how to do up a werewolf flick!!
