This is one of my favorite horror films form the 1970's! I really like Cronenberg as a director in general, but this is one of his films that I think is seriously underrated by horor fans. It is as close as Cronenberg as come to making a zombie film and it also more than a little vampiric. Rabid stars Marilyn Chambers, famous from Behind The Green Door. It certainly doesn't get anywhere near the attention that Scanners or Videodrome does! It's worth a look.
