Everyone has affection for Romero's 1978 orginal--especially if you grew up in a time when you were way too young to see it and it was constantly playing at the midnight theater on weekends--you could buy a ticket to a film you could see way underage and sneak into it...however, it has not aged well, at least not with me (no offense to Romero or Tom Savini)--it's long and lumbering. I do highly of Zack Snyder's remake here. Even with the running zombies. It's an action movie with tons of gore. Below is the cameo of Ken Foree in this film, who was in the part taken here by Ving Rhames in the original.
