There is just enough horse racing in this devil-doins flick to make it fair game for a horse racing Friday Fright entry. And despite that the story is a bit hokey in the end, I still have a serious soft spot for the film. It's got atmosphere and I grew up not far from New Orleans, so it's feels sort of "local".
