Random Hitchcock: The Farmer's Wife (1928)

An Oldie to be sure, this was a directorial project handed over to Hitchcock to fix up, it's screenplay was adapted from a popular London play and wasn't working for film, Hitchcock fixed it and was never credited as one of the writers. A similar thing happened to the Coen brothers, when they fixed the script for Intolerable Cruelty, except, of course, they took writing credits.  What is interesting about that comparison is that both of the film's basic story are quite similar; both can be described as "remarriage" stories, with some very unintended consequences!!
