This movie's production boasted a huge cast, the vast majority of which were in "bit parts." It is entirely possible that some young actresses of "American Indian" ancestry were among them, but a quick look over the entire cast--no names jumped out at me (I've got a pretty extensive list of up and coming native ladies in the film industry, but it is by no means complete). One thing is for sure is that Aaliyah did have a native grandmother, who was in fact Oneida. At the time of her very untimely death at the age of 22 in a plane crash in The Bahamas this was the only film she had ever made. Here is a Wikipedia link to a list of other famous Oneida people.
