This is Mother's Day weekend here in the US, and, in fact, today is actually Mother's Day down in Mexico, so to all the Nantli's down south: Dia de la Madre felix! Tonight is also the date set to finally announce the winners of the 2012 Native American Music awards (postponed because of Hurricane Sandy...the NAMA award association is located in NYC). So it's Native Women in horror as a focus, or celebration, today! Moving on the Cher, who is of both Cherokee (Taslagi) and Armenian ancestry. This is definitely the role she is most noted for as an actress!
