This is one of those no-budget straight to vid films that you might see on Syfy--it's that L.B.! (low budget). I'm the only one still up here this evening (at least I'm the only human left, there are 3 cats who love Friday Frights). It was so hot today that everyone else is just petered out; I'm just not willing to let go of the snow just yet.
Technically the film is formally known as Nature Unleashed: Avalanche, it is part of a whole series of "Nature Unleashed" low budget disaster flicks. It's the sort of film where the special effects are pretty good, because the technology has caught up, and they can be produced much more on the cheap--so it has that. But the script and the acting are crap--some things never change! But it's still a bit of cheap fun--and my cat Alexina loves this sort of thing!
