Snow In Black And White: The Invisible Man

My God I Love These Old Posters!

There is just something about black and white movies with snow...the black makes the white snow somehow seem much more...snowy.

I am a fan of James Whale despite that apart from his Frankenstein movies, he's not really known as a horror director.  People are fans of the original Frankenstein  (1931) and classic horror in general, tend to forget that this was also directed by Whale.  And what a hoot it is.  Never mind that Una O'Connor hams it up with the most overacted role in a horror movie ever (just my opinion of course), Claude Rains, who was an otherwise understated and considered actor,  delivers the strangest performance of his film career, period.  In short, it's just a lot of fun!
