Film One With The Flying Serpent

Welcome to our Endangered Species Day celebration with movies that contain famous cryptids and mythical monsters that human swear they've really seen.  Sometimes this turns out to be something real, as was the case with the short neck giraffe in Africa, which is called an Okapi!  Yes, biologically it's really a giraffe, despite that zebra looking butt!  As for feathered serpents, not so sure...  To be sure, the quetzal bird does exist; and so to do "flying snakes"--which actually just hurl themselves from tree to tree.

"Flying" Snake

Lost Treasures Of The Grand Canyon, it's just another in a pretty long line of films that have an actual flying feathered serpent, usually called "Quetzalcoatl" in some form of serious mispronunciation (here they say "keetsakoatal"), that east people.

If interesting watching this Syfy product, then follow this link the view it in it's entirety on You Tube.

Really...if they still used them in movies...I'm sure you'd see the strings used to operate it!  At the very least it's BAD CGI, but I love shlock!
