Based on the novels of Lynda La Plante, this series premiered in 2009 and follows a formula that is very similar to the much earlier Prime Suspect (the British one, not the recent American series). It stars Kelly Reilly as the rather "green" DC Anna Travis and household favorite Ciaran Hinds as the much more experienced DCI Langton.
