Set "Down Under" this feature length Scooby mystery features a native spook completely indigenous to Australia. The "vampire" in this case is called a "yowie-yahoo" in the film and is shortened to Yowie in most writings. It really more of an Australian Bigfoot and is one of the few creatures of eastern Tribal stories of Dreamtime that has survived in any kind of popular fiction and public interest in possibly trying to prove that it either still does exist or that it did up until recent times. It is also called a "Yowie-Whowie." This Scooby movie features the return of The Hex Girls and a performance by "The Gang."
