With the combination of Kathyrn Bigelow being the first female director to win the Best Film Oscar with The Hurt Locker and the recent publicity of her latest Zero Dark Thirty (which opens in wide release next Friday), it's hard to forget that she made some fairly big movies well before these....in this case well before! This one is so old that you can barely make out the beginnings of a widow's peak on Ralph Fiennes! Well...it's not as old as Near Dark, but then again, that one doesn't have anything to do with New Years.
