There is no way that a night of 1950's Sci-Fi is complete without some Rocky Jones. Yes, he's the poor man's Buck Rogers, but I do have a least a couple of things to say about the films. Yes the special effects are cheap, BUT, they are at least correct in terms of science--and that is not something you can say about most b to z grad sci-fi movies! For example, the space station spins, explaining the gravity they have on board. Also, these films are just plain fun! They are so bad on one level that they end up being at least charming...if not accidentally sexually suggestive! I mean, come on, there is a character named "Winky!"
