Going to see The Dark Knight Rises at the dollar theater (which curiously costs two dollars to get into.....), and renting The Avengers on High-Def this evening, so getting in some background super hero action on both films today starting with Christian Bale's first turn at The Batman, coupled with Cillian Murphy's creepy turn as Dr. Crane. His performance is extremely creepy and doesn't get talked about as much, for obvious reasons, that Heath Ledger's The Joker does, but Murphy turns in a pretty memorable stint as a Batman villain that up to this movie didn't get much face time out of the comics or animated series before he morphs into Scarecrow.
