My later Father was a huge fan of the Western genre in film, so much so that I really kinda hated them when I was growing up, because there was almost always one on when he wasn't watching football. This was one of his favorites, but it took me a while to warm up to it, because I had all of his opinions on the subject (like his being a mixed blooded Native American, who didn't seem to have much of a problem with they manner in which they were portrayed in 1950's westerns....I did!) floating around in my head. But this is true Western classic, and besides I can be my Yul Brenner fix in as well!
