We got news that a very close family friend died very unexpectedly Monday, so we are putting on a theme that I can go in and out of the house for, and since we home-school The Peanut, it has something for him to do, while grown-ups deal with the sad grown up stuff!! We are highlighting movies with scientists and actually really spooky science documentaries....and there are some truly spooky things out there that are real. For example: I just learned a while back that some scientists refer to quasars as "the zombies of the universe." Started off with quirky energy science front the mi-1990's. It is little strange, because in addition to star Keanu Reeves, it also stars Morgan Freeman in one of his more quirky role (there is a mystery that surrounds, so I won't give it away); but as I saw The Dark Knight Rises this past Sunday, there was Morgan Freeman again, with science that was almost identical to the science in this film....
